Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Govt. College for Women, Jind (Haryana) 

P.I.G.G.C.W. Jind is one of the Colleges of Excellence recognized by Govt. of Haryana. Since its inception on 14-10-2005 as Govt. College for Women it has been progressing remarkably. The College shifted to the new building complex on 03-06-2012 and within a short span it has acquired a reputation for high performance in the area of academic excellence. It provides excellent ambience and infrastructure to the girls students of the region. The college provides pollution free campus in nearly 6.94 acres of land with Hostel likely to be equipped with modern amenities, Multi-Purpose Hall with a seating capacity of 1800 students, Central Library, State-of-the-art Language Lab., EDUSAT Lab., Computer Labs. meant for development of skills, modern classrooms and infrastructure alongwith catering to the needs of the students through Soft-skills and Job Oriented Courses. This college is covered under section 12b & 2f. The courses offered by the college presently are B.Com.,B.A.,,B.C.A., B.Sc. (Medical), B.Sc.(Non-Med.), B.Sc.(Comp. Sc), B.A.(Eng. Hons), B.A. (Geo. Hons) and B.Com.(Hons). 

The college provides counselling assistance to all of its students in general and during online admissions in particular. In future the college plans to extend substantially on infrastructure and academic front. We are determined to emerge as the best college of the state in near future with the co-operation of the college fraternity and students.
