The valedictory function of the seven-day NSS Special Camp organized by Unit–1 and Unit–2 of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Government College for Women, Jind, was concluded today in a highly dignified and inspiring atmosphere. The objective of the camp was to develop a sense of service, social responsibility, leadership qualities, and dedication toward nation-building among the volunteers.

The valedictory function of the seven-day NSS Special Camp organized by Unit–1 and Unit–2 of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Government College for Women, Jind, was concluded today in a highly dignified and inspiring atmosphere. The objective of the camp was to develop a sense of service, social responsibility, leadership qualities, and dedication toward nation-building among the volunteers. The valedictory ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Thereafter, NSS Programme Officer Dr. Preety presented a detailed report of the seven-day camp activities in the gracious presence of NSS Coordinator, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU), Jind, Dr. Naveen Ladwal. The report highlighted various activities conducted during the camp, including cleanliness drives, awareness rallies, yoga and meditation sessions, lectures on women empowerment and health, street plays, and various cultural and creative events. On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Shri Jai Narayan Gahlawat, addressed the volunteers and emphasized the importance of NSS in personality development and national service. He motivated the volunteers to continue participating actively in social service activities in the future. The program was also graced by the presence of NSS Coordinator, CRSU Jind, Dr. Naveen Ladwal, who appreciated the discipline, dedication, and active participation of the volunteers. He described NSS as a powerful platform for the overall development of youth. During the ceremony, certificates and prizes were distributed to volunteers who showed outstanding performance in various competitions and activities. The awards were presented by Principal Shri Jai Narayan Gahlawat, NSS Coordinator Dr. Naveen Ladwal, and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Preety, Dr. Reetu, and Dr. Monika. In the end, the NSS Programme Officers expressed their gratitude to all the guests, college administration, and volunteers for their support and cooperation. The program concluded with the NSS song and the National Anthem, reaffirming the spirit of patriotism and commitment to service. This seven-day special camp proved to be an inspiring and enriching experience for the volunteers, strengthening their values of service, discipline, and leadership.
