A one-day district level training program on the subject of "Psychological First Aid for well being and suicide prevention of students"was organized under the joint aegis of the NTF Committee of Government Women College and Government College Jind. This program was organized under the National Task Force, whose objective was to increase awareness and sensitivity towards mental health protection of students and prevention of suicide. As the main resource person of the program, Dr. Sanjay from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, elaborated on the concept, need and practical aspects of psychological first aid. Dr. Suman Kohli, CMO of Civil Hospital Jind was the chief guest of the program. All the teaching and non-teaching officers of Government College Alewa, Government College Julana and Government College Chattar were present in this program.
