On October 8, 2025, the Department of Mathematics of Government College for Women, Jind organized a Poster Making Competition.
In this competition, Tanu and Sunidhi from B.Sc. First Year secured the first position, Komal and Diksha secured the second position, while Ritika and Sania secured the third position.
The program was presided over by the Principal, Shri Jai Narayan Gahalawat, who encouraged the students by saying that along with academics, they should also participate in such creative activities, as these help in enhancing their overall personality and talent.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Sharma, and the Head of the Department, Shri Jitender Kumar, proposed a vote of thanks. He assured the students that such programs will continue to be organized from time to time for their holistic development.
On this occasion, Mrs. Alpana Sharma and Mr. Vikram Gupta from the Department of Mathematics were also present.
